Not to be rude or anything, but this thread is primarily about the Luma 3DS update. Anyway, Sharkive states that not all codes work. So, it's not like they didn't warn you about that. Since this update is fairly new, the chance new codes get added is still relatively big due to the 3DS scene not being dead yet.
